Oh Heaven...
Today, after a morning at the train park, Drew and Daddy went to get their haircut and have lunch together and Allen and Mommy headed down to a shopping area I do not get to visit frequently enough! While walking around, I stumbled upon a place for us to stop and eat a bite for lunch...PB Loco. I love peanut butter. I love peanut butter sandwiches, peanut butter on any fruit or veggie (for the most part...), peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon...yummy. Both boys have inherited my love of peanut butter and are easy to please for lunch when there just isn't anything else in the house. On top of that, Allen loves to "dip-dip" anything in any substance. So this place has sampler platters that have 3 flavors of peanut butter (and yes, there are more flavors than creamy and crunchy!) with apples, carrots, celery and pretzels for dipping. They also have animal crackers with 2 flavors in a different platter. So Allen and I sat and shared 5 flavors of peanut butter with all the fun things to dip in them and had a great time. He was in heaven! He loved it and kept saying "dip-dip...ummm..." It was so much fun! We came home with way more than we ate there, but it was worth it!

Boys...
Just some fun shots of the boys...doing the "everyday" things!

Drew learning to write...he does ok on the first few pages but by the end he's just doodling everywhere! But he does love it! (Note Allen's head...he was trying to climb on the chair with Drew!)

Allen's most favorite activity! This is the little vacuum that I use in the kitchen. It has an adjustable handle that I can lower all the way down and it's the perfect size for him! He LOVES it!

Anxiously Waiting...
This Saturday, Nana, Grandaddy, Uncle Mike, Aunt Celeste, Jay and Amelia arrive for Spring Break! We are all anxiously awaiting their arrival, although the house isn't quite prepared! We are planning a fun week with trips to the zoo, the children's museum, the pool, the park...fun! I will hopefully remember to charge my camera battery so I can take photos and get them posted as the week goes on! You know me...if I don't keep up with it when it happens, then it never gets onto the blog!

Elizabeth's Bike Ride
On Sunday, Jim and Maggie took Elizabeth on a ride in our bike trailer. She really enjoyed herself and slept most of the time! But the best pictures were of the helmet escapade!

This doesn't look so bad...

This is horrible! What are you doing to me?!

I'm hiding from you, Auntie Amanda...you're not getting that thing back on my head!

More Zoo Photos
Here are some more pictures from the zoo. They have a great kids area with all sorts of farm animals, a petting zoo, etc. They also have a Little People Farm with a slide, a barn and animals - all life size Fisher Price Little People pieces! It was so adorable!

Silly little farmer!

I loved this sheep...it was so cute!

Moooo!!

Future horse racer...
Each kid got a monkey to take home - Drew helped me pick them out and each was different. They all liked wearing them around their necks!

Elizabeth crashed on the way home but her mommy was nice enough to bring her monkey in the house when she put Lizzie to bed!

A Trip to the Zoo
On Saturday we took advantage of the beautiful weather (sunny and 85!) and spent some time at the zoo. Auntie Maggie, Uncle Jim and Elizabeth were in town for the weekend and so we all went and had a great time! The zoo here is huge!! You walk a ton...they even rent bikes if you prefer to see the animals that way. We took a picnic lunch and managed to find a shaded spot to stop and eat. It was fun!!

Momentary Brotherly Love

A monkey hanging out right over the path...he was so cute!

"Here little monkey!"

Where are those animals they keep promising me?!

Elizabeth enjoying her picnic lunch...yummy Cheerios!
