SNOW!!!

Wow Maddie...so this is the white stuff you keep telling me about! You used to get lots of it in Kansas City? It sure is fun to play in!

(Actual conversation...Mommy: "Look Drew! It's snowing!" Drew: "Outside? Outside?")

We were very excited to have heavy snow this morning for about 15 mintues. Luckily we had just come downstairs for breakfast before heading to school so we took some time to play in the snow. Drew was really excited to see, feel and taste the snow and Maddie was overjoyed to run around in a snowy yard again. I think she really misses a true "winter"!
(Oh yeah...I totally still have garland on my back deck. Oops! Missed that when we took down the Christmas decorations!)
