Earth Day Celebration

Yesterday, we celebrated Earth Day as a family with an afternoon of improving our environment. It was actually a total fluke...we didn't even realize it was Earth Day! Patrick and I had gone to Lowe's to pick out some flowers for our front beds and we spent the afternoon planting flowers and mulching. OK...that was a fib...Patrick and Drew planted flowers and mulched. Allen, Maddie and I sat on the front lawn and watched! It was a lovely afternoon and I am happy to say that, while completely by accident, we did improve our little piece of the planet!
