Today Patrick and I took the boys to church to meet their preschool teachers for this year. Allen has Ms Millie and Ms Velvet - Drew's first preschool teachers! We loved them 2 years ago and had a great experience so we are really looking forward to Allen being in that class this year. Neat fact...two friends of mine from growing up (including my oldest friend and college roommate) have kids in that class! Drew's new teachers are Ms Diane and Ms Glinda. Ms Glinda was Drew's Summer Adventure teacher and was my preschool teacher 27+ years ago! Drew knows Ms Diane from last year as they were in the gym and on the playground at the same time. They bonded playing together and he seemed to remember her today. Drew only has 2 friends he already knows in his class this year...most of his good friends are just enough older than him to be in a different class and his buddies from last year have changed preschools. So I will be interested to see how he does this year.
On a fun note...Allen pushed the laundry basket across the playroom today while walking behind it. He was so proud! Mommy was so stressed! (Though I'm hoping he will start walking before we go camping in late September...a baby crawling through the dirt will not be pleasant!)
